The 2026 edition presents primary and secondary-market works spanning the 20th and 21st centuries, from blue-chip modern masters and Post-War and Pop icons to contemporary paintings, sculpture, photography, design, works on paper, prints, and new media. Set on Biscayne Bay between the Venetian and MacArthur Causeways, the waterfront pavilion remains one of the most scenically positioned fair venues in the world and one of the most logistically convenient during Art Week, with a Water Taxi stop nearby and a connecting passageway to sister fair CONTEXT Art Miami.

This year’s programming centers on recognizing Shepard Fairey as the recipient of the 2026 Art Miami Lifetime Visionary Award. The artist and activist, best known for the HOPE poster that defined a political moment and for three decades of work at the intersection of fine art, street culture, and social advocacy, will formally accept the honor during Miami Art Week.

His presence extends across the full Art Miami fair family. Inside the Art Miami VIP Lounge, a curated presentation will highlight significant works from across his global portfolio. At CONTEXT Art Miami, Fairey will perform an exclusive DJ set during the opening evening from 7:30 to 9 PM. A new exterior façade mural at the Aqua Hotel in Miami Beach will leave a permanent addition to the city’s visual landscape.

The celebration culminates in a ticketed private cocktail reception and dinner on Thursday, December 3 at Boulud Sud, with a menu personally prepared by Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Perry J. Cohen Foundation and its arts-focused programming.

More than 130 galleries from 25 countries will participate in the 2026 edition, representing a global cross-section of the contemporary art market. Major art capitals are represented, including London, Paris, Berlin, Seoul, Hong Kong, Dubai, Istanbul, Bogotá, and Tel Aviv, alongside galleries from across the United States and a strong presence of more than 20 galleries from Miami and surrounding cities.
