Acqualina Resort & Residences to Host the 31st Annual “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Gala

On October 29, 2026, Acqualina Resort & Residences will bring one of Miami’s most meaningful philanthropic evenings to The Turnberry Resort in Aventura. The 31st Annual “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Gala, hosted by Stephanie, Jules, and Eddie Trump of the Trump family, begins at 6:30 PM with a celebration that is as much about the future as it is about the evening itself.

The night honors the Class of 2032, a group of young Dreamers who began their journey with the “I Have a Dream” Miami program as second graders and are now well on their way to becoming the next generation of college graduates, professionals, and community leaders. The Trump family founded the Miami-Dade chapter of the Foundation in 1995 and has remained its driving force for more than three decades.

The evening opens with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, live music, and a live auction. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the Foundation’s Dreamers, funding the mentoring, tutoring, and tuition assistance that the program provides from childhood through higher education. The Foundation guarantees each Dreamer’s academic tuition at a Florida state university for a four-year degree or an accredited trade school, a commitment that has produced outcomes the statistics around it make remarkable.

The numbers tell the story. Of the 95 Dreamers from the Foundation’s first adopted class at the Charles R. Drew School in Liberty City who reached 12th grade, 83 graduated on time, and 54 went on to earn college degrees. The second class, adopted in 2007 at Hibiscus Elementary School, saw 96 of 107 Dreamers graduate high school on time, with 86 now enrolled in post-secondary education. In communities where only 50 percent of students are expected to complete high school and only one in seven will graduate from college, those numbers represent far more than a statistic. They represent teachers, social workers, lawyers, scholar-athletes, and lives built on a foundation that began with a program that refused to give up on them.

“We are honored to be part of this incredible program,” says Stephanie Trump. “We are preparing our Dreamers to become proud and productive citizens by giving them the necessary tools they need to make their dreams a reality. So many of these Dreamers are the first in their families to graduate high school, let alone go on to college. It is so rewarding to see our students after the program who have gone on to successful career paths.”

The Foundation currently supports 55 Dreamers who will become the graduating class of 2032, affording them the same opportunities that have already changed the trajectories of two previous classes.

The silent auction will feature luxury hotel stays at Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Montego Bay, Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo, Canaves Ena Santorini, Baccarat Hotel New York, and Montage Palmetto Bluff, alongside dining experiences and spa packages. The live auction offers three destination packages: a Caribbean escape to Salterra in South Caicos with a stay in The Penthouse and airfare for two, an Italian journey through Santa Caterina Hotel in Amalfi, Villa Treville in Positano, and Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento, and an African adventure with stays at Victoria Falls River Lodge’s Zambezi Crescent, Mateya Safari Lodge, and Jabulani Safari.
