The Engagement Ring Settings Graff Named After Its Most Legendary Diamonds
Graff engagement rings have always begun with an extraordinary diamond — and the 2026 bridal campaign reveals the legendary stones.
When Graff’s master stonecutter presented Laurence Graff with a seemingly perfect pear-shaped D Flawless diamond of 102.44 carats, most would have considered the work done. Graff’s response was to place it back on the wheel — prepared to lose carat weight in pursuit of something he believed could be more perfect still. The result was the Graff Flame: a flawless pear shape at an exact 100.00 carats, and the diamond that now gives its name to one of the house’s most coveted engagement ring settings. In a single story, it’s everything you need to understand about how Graff operates.

The London-founded house has spent over 65 years at the very pinnacle of high jewelry, and its newly launched 2026 bridal campaign brings that legacy into full view. Shot by photographer Nicolas Kantor at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the campaign follows models Stella Hanan and Parker Van Noord through a love story that moves from proposal to celebration across one of the South of France’s most magnificent estates — every moment illuminated by Graff diamonds.

What makes Graff’s engagement ring collections unlike anything else in the market is the history embedded in each setting. Every name traces back to a specific diamond the house has discovered, cut, and transformed. The Promise setting honors the 603-carat Lesotho Promise rough diamond, unearthed in 2006 and cut by Graff to yield 26 D Flawless stones — its shoulder stones forming defined lines of light that magnify the brilliance of the central diamond. The Icon setting, a center stone encircled by a delicate halo of pavé diamonds extending beneath the gallery and around the band, takes its name from the 90.97-carat D Flawless Graff Icon — certified in 2000 as the largest Round Brilliant Cut D Flawless diamond the GIA had graded to date. And then there is the Flame, with its pavé diamond band handcrafted to ignite the inner fire of a central solitaire — named for the diamond Laurence Graff refused to accept until it was exactly right.

Beyond the settings themselves, Graff applies a fifth criterion to every diamond it selects — one the house calls Character. Where the traditional four Cs measure the quantifiable, Character reaches for something more elusive: the origin of the rough stone, the skill of the cut, and the diamond’s individual personality — what Graff describes as its unique life force. “A declaration of love deserves nothing less than one of nature’s greatest masterpieces,” says CEO Francois Graff. “Because no two love stories are alike, no two rings should be either.”

The 2026 campaign presents each setting in round, oval, pear, and heart cuts, styled alongside pieces from Graff’s Butterfly, Tilda’s Bow, Laurence Graff Signature, and Classic Graff collections. The full bridal edit spans the ceremony and beyond — necklaces, earrings, bracelets, tiaras, and brooches — every piece handcrafted by the house’s master artisans to be worn and passed down for generations.
