Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Alejandra Rauw and the Man Turning Horse Racing Into a Cultural Moment

Adam Kluger has spent decades at the intersection of music, entertainment, and culture. Now, the former talent manager is betting big on a different kind of stage. As founder of Run Fast Racing, Kluger has built a celebrity-powered horse racing ownership group that is as much a tech platform as it is a sports venture. With Lil Wayne, Rauw Alejandro, and Lil Yachty already in the stable and a roster of A-listers set to be announced, Kluger’s vision is nothing short of a full-scale reinvention of American thoroughbred racing. We sat down with him just before the Belmont Stakes (Run Fast Racing’s Vitruvian Man has entered the race) to learn how it all works and why he believes Run Fast Racing is just getting started.
What is Run Fast Racing?
Run Fast Racing is a celebrity horse racing ownership group powered by our mobile app, which allows anyone to become a business partner with celebrities and co-own a stable of racehorses competing across the United States for serious prize money and major accolades.
How did Rauw, Wayne, and Yachty Get Involved?
I was formerly Yachty’s manager, so when I stepped away from that to start RFR three years ago, he was immediately on board. Yachty is one of the most forward-thinking artists I’ve ever worked with. He has a real sense of business beyond music. Rauw came next. He’s a genuine fan of the sport and was raised around the racetrack with his grandfather in Puerto Rico. Wayne is a big sports guy and just a natural fit for what we’re building. Everyone involved has a true passion for horse racing and a shared belief that we can revitalize the sport by introducing it to a younger generation.
How does it work?
Users download the app and pay $100 a month to co-own a stable of 15 or more racehorses. Members get to weigh in on decisions that actually impact future races, including which jockeys ride, which races we enter, and even what we name the horses. All stats are available in the app, plus live-streaming of the horses in their stalls between races. Members also get free access to the owners box, typically with open bar and complimentary food, every time we have horses running. That happens every single weekend. Right now, our events are primarily in Southern California and the Northeast, with a nationwide rollout coming soon. And through our DirectPay feature, every co-owner gets money deposited directly to their bank account any time a horse in the stable wins. We have $200,000 earmarked for users if our horse wins the Belmont Stakes, and we are in dozens of races each month. There is a lot of action.

How many horses do you have, and who is the one to watch?
Our standouts right now are Listenupshance, No Bad Beats, and Vitruvian Man. But we also have eight younger horses set to run for the first time in July and August, any one of which could potentially be a 2027 Kentucky Derby contender.
Who else would you like to bring on board?
As far as users, everyone. On the celebrity side, we already have a deep roster of major names across music, film, and sports who have signed on and will be announced over time. Every new celebrity partner we bring in typically means 10 more horses added to the stable, which means more action for our users, all included in the same flat monthly fee.
What is the ultimate goal of RFR?
To do for horse racing what Formula 1 has done for itself: not just popularize the sport, but control where the audience’s attention goes. The ownership structure of horse racing gives us a level of influence and decision-making power that simply does not exist in leagues like the NBA or NFL. That is a real advantage, and we intend to use it.
What’s the toughest part about maintaining a stable of horses?
Air traffic control. There are a lot of moving parts. We are not just a stable; we are a brand-new industry within an industry, with nine different departments that have to move in sync. No weak links.
Can anyone win?
Yes, and win we do!
Any predictions for Belmont, and what comes next?
I love our chances with Listenupshance in the True North Stakes on the undercard. Vitruvian Man could absolutely shock the world if he gets a fast pace in front of him. He is a closer. After Belmont, we have races every weekend at Santa Anita through closing day, followed by a stop at Los Alamitos in Orange County. Then starting July 17, Run Fast Racing horses will be running every day at Del Mar in San Diego for the full season, with weekend champagne bar parties in the owners box, open to all RFR members, free of charge. Lots of wins. Lots of payouts.
