Dr. Vince Avallone

Dr. Vince Avallone, a renowned dentist at Apa Aesthetic, grew up with early exposure to healthcare through his dad, who is a doctor. When it came time to think seriously about his own career path, his father encouraged him to explore not only medicine but also dentistry. As he shadowed different dental specialists, one theme stood out. “Even after decades in practice, they remained deeply fulfilled by their work,” remarks Avallone. “That sense of long-term passion and purpose inspired me to pursue dentistry myself.”

Avallone obtained his doctorate from NYU College of Dentistry and, while there, completed a one-year advanced clinical program in aesthetics. From the beginning at NYU, Avallone was fortunate to have amazing mentors and experiences that directed his focus toward aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry. In his second year, he was introduced to the Honors Aesthetics program. He loved the idea of blending dental care with artistry and knew it was the path for him. “NYU emphasized the importance of collaboration,” says Avallone. “It was a lesson that shaped the way I practice today, where I surround myself with world-class specialists–oral surgeons, endodontists, and periodontists. The Honors Aesthetics program at NYU was truly the foundation of Avallone’s career and his first real introduction to comprehensive and want-based dentistry. It exposed him to a bigger picture that oral care is not only about health and function, but also about beauty and self-expression. “That perspective shaped the way I approach every patient today,” expresses Avallone. “It’s also the very program that Dr. Apa and many of our associates completed, which is why our team is able to deliver a level of consistency and predictability across all Apa Aesthetic offices that feels both seamless and luxurious.”

To Avallone, working under Dr. Apa and Dr. Rosenthal at Apa Aesthetic is more than a learning experience; it’s a privilege. “They don’t just practice cosmetic dentistry; they define it,” states Avallone. Dr. Rosenthal is considered the father of modern veneers. He pioneered the very procedure that transformed the field. Dr. Apa has since taken the work to unprecedented heights, performing more smile makeovers than any dentist in the world, with a career built on both groundbreaking successes and invaluable lessons. Together, they represent over six decades of mastery. “In my role, I have the rare opportunity to learn from their extensive archive of cases (the largest of its kind) much like an athlete reviewing game footage,” adds Avallone. “It’s an education in artistry, precision, and vision that continues to shape me every day.”
