I’m A Commerce Director—Here’s How I’m Designing My Living Room
Maximizing style in a small NYC apartment with neutral furniture, colorful accents, and creative living room design essentials.
I’ve just moved to a new apartment in New York City, and I’m taking its interior design seriously. Each room is a project, and I’ve been meticulously curating my furniture and putting the finishing touches on each space, blending function with fashion. New York City apartments are small, so I’ve had to get creative with making the most of the space.

The latest project I’ve completed? The living room. My goal in this room (among the others) was to keep the furniture neutrally hued, and then add pops of color in accent pieces or unique items to make it feel like me. These are my living room non-negotiables.
