The fabulous menu at Zucca reflects Chef Manuel Garcia and his team’s Italian experience. In fact, most of the team of waiters and kitchen staff have lived and breathed the Italian lifestyle. Hence why it was no surprise that choosing from the menu presented a challenge like no other.

Before we dive into our carefully selected options that were sourced with the help of the knowledgeable waitstaff’s prime recommendations, let us tell you about the impressive drinks menu. When we first sat down, we were given a bevy of beverages inspired by the authentic culinary spirit of Italy. But in the case that you’re not in the mood for spirits, fear not! Zucca is also home to The Cellar, an award-winning wine experience boasting a selection of more than 2,400 bottles. From Italian wines and French and American selections, the options were endless (essentially, a wine lover’s heaven!).

Once the drinks were served, we began our Italian cuisine experience and opted for the Prosciutto Antipasto paired with the creamy burrata cheese marinated with heirloom tomatoes and basil oil. For our main course, we went with the most popular dish on the menu, the Tagliatelle with mixed wild mushrooms, “Parmigiano fonduta,” and black truffle caviar. We also tried the Homemade Ravioli stuffed with pumpkin sautéed with light butter sauce and sage, which was a real standout.

For our entrée, the Merluzzo Nero Al Guazzetto Di Cozze Con Fregola Sarda, Spinaci E Pomodorini did not disappoint! The black cod was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the flavorful mussel stew. The dish was completed with Sardinian fregola, spinach, and cherry tomatoes, which added a burst of color and freshness to the plate.
But let’s not forget about dessert – we went all out and ordered not one, but two classic Italian treats. The Ricotta cheese cheesecake with mixed berries was rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. And don’t even get us started on the homemade Tiramisu, it was out of this world!

And just when you thought we were done, there’s more! To cap off the already amazing evening, we enjoyed the Sgroppino Veneziano, a refreshing drink made with lemon sorbet, Prosecco Veneziano, vodka, and lemon zest, which was perfectly prepared table-side. It was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the fizzy Prosecco added just the right amount of sparkle to the drink. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that we’d love to experience again and again.
