Haute Event: Lauren Conrad at Tao Beach
Reality star and clothing designer Lauren Conrad hosted at Tao Beach at the Venetian on Saturday as Hpnotiq took over the pool with a candy-themed party to symbolize Conrad’s book titled LA Candy. The former star of The Hills and friends took over the grand cabana, enjoying cocktails and fare from the Tao kitchen.
She chatted about her upcoming book and clothing projects and took pictures with fans while indulging her sweet tooth with candy in Hptoniq’s signature blue and white colors. Girls tossed out lollipops and candy bracelets to the crowd as pool partiers drank Roq Candy martinis and LA Candy specialty cocktails from Hpnotiq.
Also spotted taking in the scene at Tao Beach was actor Ryan Phillippe, who was toasting his girlfriend Alexis Knapp as she celebrated her birthday. Alas, no photos of the sexy star of The Bang Bang Club, due out this year.
