Inside Haute Living’s Luxe & Leisure Weekend At Brickell City Centre 2019
Haute Living took over the Brickell City Centre for its Luxe & Leisure Weekend, debuting a specially-curated lineup of luxury activations throughout three days, tapping into the timepiece, auto, fashion, real estate and culinary industries.
Throughout the mall, a jaw-dropping curation of over $20M worth of prized automobiles were on display. Lamborghini Miami flaunted some of their most in-demand supercars, including the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder, Lamborghini Huracán Coupe and the Lamborghini URUS. These cars drew in hundreds of onlookers and admirers throughout the weekend, captivating the scene right in front of Block A, anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue. In block B in front of Acqua di Parma, We are Curated displayed two covetable vintage automobiles—a Lamborghini LM002 and Mercedes-Benz convertible 300SL. And finally, in block C, anchored by La Centrale, Barry Skolnick‘s brand-new Ikonick Motors made its first public debut, showcasing an enviable lineup of his collectibles including a McLaren Senna, Ferrari F12 TDF and an orange Maserati MC12.

On Friday night, the weekend kicked off with a private cocktail + dinner with Ulysse Nardin and Swire Properties, where the luxury Swiss watchmaker launched its newest timepiece, the Skeleton X Magma, making its first U.S. debut. The red, super light carbon fiber timepiece was a showstopper, as guests got to see the timepiece in person for the first time ever. After a cocktail in the midst of Barry Skolnick’s supercars and in front of the Westime boutique, guests moved upstairs for a private dinner in Reach Residence’s penthouse 4203. Here, they enjoyed a gourmet dinner from MG Events and sips of Cristal and Louis Roederer Champagne. During the dinner, Haute Living honored Barry Skolnick as the philanthropist of the year, and commemorated him with a special video clip, proclamation from the city of Miami, artwork from Eternity Gallery and a plaque honoring his commitment to the city following his generous donation of the Skolnick Surgical Tower at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Sunday finished out the weekend strong, as Haute Living, Prestige Imports/Lamborghini Miami and Ulysse Nardin opened the day with a closing brunch in front of Saks Fifth Avenue. The guest of honor was Miami Heat star Justise Winslow, who came to celebrate with his family. The brunch served as a kick-off to his upcoming charity event for Robin’s House Family Foundation, where Haute Living helped curate generous donations for auction items. The organization seeks to help guide children and young adults to find their highest potential through education, recreation and community outreach.
Donations included a gorgeous ‘ArtBox’ by Project ERTH painting from Avant Gallery, as well as paintings from David Rosen Galleries by Giuseppe Ferlito; a trip to the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation’s headquarters from founder Eduardo Serio; a $10K package from Lamborghini Miami, where guests can have the ultimate luxury experience with the supercars; a $2K donation from Dr. Rian Maercks towards Robin’s House; and Ulysse Nardin, as well as Prestige Imports, pledged to donate 10-percent of proceeds from any purchase to the Foundation.
Following the heartwarming charitable portion of the event, Haute Time launched the final panel discussion of the weekend with the ‘Keepers of Time’ panel, featuring a handful of avid watch collectors as panelists, including Prestige Imports CEO Brett David, Chapman Ducote, Ulysse Nardin U.S. President François-Xavier Hotier, Nadav Benimetzky and Avery Andon.
