It’s (figuratively) the hottest time of the year in the California desert—the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival! While many have been planning their outfits, musician viewing strategies and party plans for months (and let’s be honest, maybe even since last year) it would be remiss to forget the hotels going completely Co for the occasion. For those seeking the truest, most authentic Coachella 2019 experience April 12-14 and April 19-21, check out these SoCal hotels now (and book them, like, yesterday).
Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa
The Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa is offering Coachella elite bite-sized wellness offerings for weekends one and two. The hotel knows that festival-goers will have zero downtown between music and parties, so is offering express versions of their facials and massages—both the Hydrate Facial and Swedish Massage are just 25 minutes long. There’s also hair braiding and flash tattoos so you, too, can look as cool as Coachella queen Vanessa Hudgens. The hotel is also offering the super necessary IV Hydration Therapy Cocktails, including the Buzz Bag, Go-Chella Juice and Hangover Helper… which will be the perfect way to refresh before hitting the pool… which has its own DJ spinning, of course.

The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa is very cleverly offering every kind of wellness offering an Angeleno might enjoy. Find fresh, locally sourced in-room menu options including the Antioxidant Blend No. 2 smoothie with a refreshing blend of banana, vanilla, wild honey, and fresh ginger (essential for keeping the sickness at bay). For those heading out to late-night parties like Neon Carnival who haven’t had a chance to eat (too busy getting ready/dancing) the hotel is offering awaiting Any Line, Anytime shuttle stop passengers agrab-and-go station in the lobby featuring finger foods such as pizza and quesadillas. Last but not least, the hotel’s spa is offering the very SoCal CBD Herbal Relief Massage and the Thank U, Coachella facial, a nod to headliner Ariana Grande, featuring locally grown Medjool dates.
La Quinta Resort & Club

The Waldorf Astoria-owned La Quinta Resort & Club has created an après swim experience in conjunction with Champagne house Veuve Clicquot at the resort’s adults-only (a must for weary Coachella-goers) plunge pool. Guests can enjoy laying poolside under umbrellas in Veuve’s signature mustard hue or rent a Clicquot-branded private cabana with bottle service. A roving champagne cart will be available for guests who want a bubbly buzz under the desert sun. The après swim experience is available Thursday-Saturday and will include champagne tasting flights, signature cocktails and order lite bites before dinner, complete with string lights, yard games, and views of the Santa Rosa Mountains for the ultimate high-end backyard summer party.
