Living legend Quincy Jones is behind some of the biggest smash hit records ever to have been made, including those by Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin and of course, Michael Jackson. To celebrate his incredible life’s work and his cover launch, Haute Living and Rolls-Royce hosted an intimate cocktail party with a star-studded guest list of artists, athletes and entrepreneurs during Grammy week in the City of Angels at Mr. C. Beverly Hills, alongside Louis XIII Cognac.

As guests arrived at the hotel’s porte cochère, they were greeted by a fleet of stunning Rolls-Royce cars on display, each more impressive than the next. Automobile enthusiasts and attendees alike, such as entrepreneur and car collector Sean Lee and others reveled in the gorgeous vehicles, before walking the red carpet that led to the hotel bar, where they were presented with flutes of Mr. C/Cipriani‘s signature Bellinis.

Guests then moved to the main cocktail area, where a live DJ played some of Mr. Jones’ signature tracks, delicious hors d’oeuvres were passed around the room and Baccarat glasses of Louis XIII Cognac were on offer, as was Bertaud Belieu Rosé.

Midway through the evening, Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani took to the microphone, to thank Mr. Jones for all of his contributions to the music world and the world at large, and introduced Crime, who presented a stunning, oversized painting to the multiple Grammy-Award-winning talent, explaining that he had included all of his musical works into the custom creation. Mr. Jones was visibly humbled and graciously accepted the gift, and then continued to mingle and chat with close friends and guests who were honored and awed to be in the musical genius’ presence.
