TAO Group Continues To Reign In Enlisting Elite Resident Artists
Where are the new rockstars hanging out these days? Anywhere TAO Group is involved. Make a table reservation at any of its properties, nightclubs or restaurants, and you’ll see legions of them. But it’s LAVO, Marquee, TAO Nightclub and TAO Beach in Las Vegas that some of the most elite and in-demand artists in the world call home.
This weekend alone the city saw French Montana, Travis Scott, and Gucci Mane; three of the biggest names in hip-hop and pop culture. When they’re not busy making charting-topping records and collaborating on hit albums, televising their $1.7 million wedding, or busy advocating for causes dear to their heart, and creating party anthems, they’re closing out the biggest brunch party in Las Vegas. Take French Montana, for example.
Saturday, March 17 the golden boy of club anthems took over TAO Beach and closed out LAVO Party Brunch season. Montana even treated party-goers with an encore performance after his main set. But, he’s more than an artist. He’s an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Montana has campaigned for DACA, founded a music label called Coke Boyz, is a three-times BET Award winner and Soul Train Award recipient.
Later that night, TAO Group resident artist Travis Scott delivered his trademark high-energy performance at Marquee Nightclub inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The entire crowd was jumping up and down in light of his performance when suddenly Montana made a surprise visit and joined Scott on stage. Scott is signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music record label as part of its production team. He’s garnered tremendous commercial success with his hit single “Antidote” off his album Rodeo and later released the highly-anticipated album Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho with rapper Quavo from the rap group Migos on December 21, 2017.
Meanwhile, at TAO Nightclub, Gucci Mane hosted the night with a blowout performance. To measure the cultural significance of an artist like Gucci Mane, it’s best to use the broadcasting of his $1.7 million wedding as a measurement unit. The event was highly marketed, publicized, and later televised ranking in high ratings for BET. His equally charming and stunning wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir, joined him on stage adorned in her signature diamond jewelry.
As if their roster of haut monde in-demand resident artists wasn’t impressive enough, they also had tip-top clientele in attendance. Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee and Pittsburgh Steelers star Martavis Bryant were enjoying the Las Vegas boss life from their VIP booth. How TAO Group manages to not only reign in enlisting elite artists but also attract A-list clientele is a question everyone wants to know and an answer only they can provide. Until further notice, however, everyone can continue to do exactly what they’ve been doing for years: admiring from afar and taking notes.
