Lion Pub Transformed Into Pac Heights’ Hottest New Property
Prime real estate in San Francisco is a hot commodity that shows no sign of cooling down. Case in point: a new property at 2060 Divisadero. If you had ever been to the Lion Pub—a beloved fern bar known for its fireplace, greyhounds, and acceptance of the gay community—on the corner of Sacramento and Divisadero Streets, you are familiar with this plot of real estate. Instead the bar has been transformed into Pacific Heights’ most beautiful new house. The stunning three-floor, 4,809 square-foot Victorian home recently hit the market at $5,995,000. The exterior of the house is a deep grey color and many original design features have been preserved including the gorgeous facade. A framed stained glass portrait of a lion pays homage to the spaces beginnings.
