Haute Event: Cinema Society and Amnesty International Host Sorcerer’s Apprentice Screening

News | July 8, 2010

Last night the Cinema Society hosted an evening to show the Nick Cage movie Sorcerer’s Apprentice. I had the great pleasure of attending along with some other VIP jet setters. The movie is definitely one of a quick pace nature and surely not to put anyone to sleep.

I enjoyed the actress Teresa Palmer, who I remembered spending time with last summer. She is someone who has great talent and helps bring the story to life. Nick Cage was amazing and played Balthazar Blake. All in all the movie was fun to watch.

After the premiere, we made our way to The Yard at the Soho Grand. It was such a hot and humid night, but thanks to the outdoor fans it wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed the delicious mini burgers, french fries, tapas and all the good food I probably should have stayed away from. The beautiful Kelly Bensimon arrived in the coolest Stella McCartney leggings that sparkled and shimmered, I also saw the model Agyness Deyn, who came out after the movie and was wearing short bloomer-like shorts. She was still rocking her short hairdo. Andrew Saffir of the Cinema Society was dressed in an a summer pin striped suit and entertained all of his guests with first class treatment. Designers Rachel Roy and Zac Posen also came out to support the Jerry Bruckheimer film.
