Quick Hits: An Inside Look at Soho House’s Newest Property “The Ned”
Everyone who’s anyone is currently buzzing about Soho House’s newest London hotel, The Ned. Formerly a Midland Bank, the Grade-I listed, 11-storey building was designed in 1924 by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens (aha moment). The hotel hasn’t officially opened its doors yet, until then, allow us to give you the inside scoop on the interior. The building will host eight world class restaurants, 252 hotel rooms and ooh la la exclusives like The Ned’s Club.

And what about those 252 hotel rooms? Forget your standard neutrals, The Ned will be fully embracing the roaring 20s with opulent extravagance. Each room will be firmly in character showcasing vintage pieces, silk victorian wallpaper, mahogany furniture and glistening chandeliers. And what self-respecting hotel doesn’t have a world class fitness center? Ned Club Active (also members only) is fully equipped with a pilates, yoga, and spin studio to counteract that sumptuous dinner. The spa is an oasis of calm away from hectic central London where you can de-stress and unkink those knots. Sauna, steam and hammam those worries away, finished off with a dip in the 20 meter pool.
