Cocktail Bar Of The Week: Parisian Hot Spot Danico
Photo Credit: Benoit Linero In January 2023, Danico, the renowned cocktail bar located behind the Italian restaurant Daroco Bourse, unveiled
its new concept: a series of menus inspired by the international travels of the famous globe-trotting mixologist
Nico de Soto, under the name “Danico Xplorer.”

Together with his team, de Siti crafts unique creations like postcards from his mixological adventures, drawing
from his discoveries at the world’s best bars. After successful cocktail voyages through Indonesia, Mexico, and Japan, India is now the focus as of July.

Curious cocktail explorers can enjoy a variety of cleverly crafted cocktails, meticulously sourced and balanced, including the Bollywood Baashah. Inspired by classic Indian cuisine, it blends Mount Gay Barrel Rum with Madras curry distillate, roasted cashew distillate, and a korma spice mix, delivering a creamy mouthfeel and a memorable spicy finish. For those seeking a silky texture and euphoric flavors, the Psychedelic Lassi takes customers straight to Mumbai, with Bacardi Ocho Rum infused with fenugreek, kaffir leaves, coconut yogurt, mango, and mango lassi
tea syrup. Inspired by the exotic and floral nuances of Indian cultural influences, the KR Market brings this
promise to life with a perfect blend of Altos Tequila, St-Germain, marigold flower distillate, floral butter, floral tea, flower water, red apple, verjuice, and jasmine.
