Quick Hits: Steph Curry’s Birthday and James Beard Nominees

Here's how Steph Curry celebrated turning 29.

❤️❤️❤️Happiest of Happy Birthdays to the love of my life!(clears throat)… Oh chooch why you gotta be so dang fiiiiiiiine. You’re literally like fine wine. Just getting better with time. Now you’re 29. Still all mine. Still dropping dimes. Still doing your thing. You make my heart sing. You drive me nuts… on your golf game, working on your putts. That’s okay though I’ll keep loving you. Like the day I said “I do” when I was 22. Okay boo, time to celebrate you and all the amazing things you do…. and if you don’t know, now you know insta … boom boom ???(mic drop)

Stephen Curry turned 29 yesterday and both his wife and teammates took to social media to honor the basketball star. Alongside a photo of the two of them, Ayesha Curry wrote her man a rap saying “You’re literally like fine wine. Just getting better with time. Now you’re 29. Still all mine.”

Mood after that win!!! Great one fellas! It’s not always pretty, still have to get it done!! Happy birthday @stephencurry30 hope it was great brother #dubnation #morelife   A post shared by Draymond Green (@money23green) on

Draymond Green shared an image of a young Curry’s school photo. The image was payback of sorts: on Green’s birthday Curry posted a teenage picture of Draymond complete with braces.

Under Armour Basketball made a special pair of tennis shoes for Curry to wear in the Warriors game against Philadelphia 76ers, Nice Kicks reported. The yellow and blue sneakers look like yellow cake with white frosting dripping down the side.

Blessed to see another year. So many things to be thankful for! Keep growing, keep pushing, living life….Appreciate everyone who reached out today. #29 #morelife

Curry himself shared a picture of his birthday cake. Rumor has it, the basketball star wanted to go to Benihana and enjoy a meal with his family.
