Hop to These Lavish Easter Brunches in Miami
Easter is all about spring colors, egg hunts, champagne, and of course… brunch.
And because your holiday brunch should be something the Easter Bunny approves of, we’ve rounded up a list of our favorites – all of which are happening in South Florida this weekend:
Izzy’s Fish & Oyster (423 Washington Avenue): When Tongue & Cheek Chef/Owner Jamie DeRosa opened a New England seafood restaurant just down the street, all of Miami rejoiced. This Sunday, join him and Chef de Cuisine William Crandall for a seafood-centric Easter brunch with dishes like Maine Lobster Benedict, Fried Oyster Rancheros, Challah French Toast, Fried Clam Bellies, and everyone’s favorite brunch item: bottomless rosé, Bloody Mary’s and mimosas. Brunch will be served from 10 AM to 4 PM. All dishes are a la carte, and bottomless drinks are $25. Children under 12 eat free.
Bourbon Steak Miami (Turnberry Isle Miami, 19999 W Country Club Drive): Be like a bunny and hop from bar to bar at Bourbon Steak Miami’s 2016 Easter buffet brunch. From fresh fruits and berries, pastries, grilled romaine Caesar salad, an antipasto table and a full iced raw bar, to made-to-order brioche French toast with foie gras butter, Maine crab cake benedict, ricotta and blueberry pancakes, cheddar grits with Wagyu braised short rib, steak and eggs, and more, it won’t disappoint. Brunch will be served from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Price is $65 per person.
Burlock Coast Seafood & Spirits (The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, 1 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard): For a Ritz-Carlton-level brunch (because is there anything more luxurious?), head to Fort Lauderdale’s newest oceanfront restaurant, Burlock Coast, for an Easter celebration like no other. With everything from breakfast, salad, crepe and carving stations – to a garden bar, sushi and dim sum, a charcuterie display, made-to-order entrees, a separate kids buffet, and a dessert table with 10+ platters of sweets and treats, and more – after this brunch, you won’t even need an Easter basket. Brunch will be served from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. Price is $135 per adult and $50 per child aged 5 – 12.
J&G Grill (St. Regis Bal Harbour, 9703 Collins Avenue): For a breathtaking brunch overlooking the sparkling Atlantic coast, head to J&G Grill for Executive Chef Scott Dolbee’s signature favorites: like crab cake benedict, Key West pink shrimp salad, ahi tuna tartare and miso-glazed sea bass, to name a few.
