The 7th Annual All-Star Tennis Charity Event with Serena Williams
The Annual All-Star Tennis Charity Event will be taking place on Key Biscayne for the seventh consecutive year. The event benefits the youth of Miami—in a large way—and the world’s best tennis players gather to do what they do best.
This year, Serena Williams, the number one single’s women player in the world and 21 Grand Slam winner, will be returning to The Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami along with Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard and Richard Gasquet.
Spearheaded by Grand Slam legend and Hall of Famer Cliff Drysdale, the event will be an intimate gathering with the four professionals and just 24 amateurs. The amateurs will have the opportunity to compete in a Round Robin, a tournament in which each competitor plays in turn against every other. The winners of the Round Robin will get to play both against and alongside the four pros on hand. Haute Living’s very own Associate Publisher, Sarah Mirmelli, will participate in the Round Robin tournament.
Spectators will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while viewing the scrimmage matches, as well as another Round Robin featuring only the pros and a “King of the Court” challenge match when the pros will play against the amateur Round Robin winners.
The event this year will be benefiting First Serve Miami, a non-profit organization for children of low income communities that teaches them the game of Tennis through beginner and competitive levels First Serve Miami programs.
It is open to the public by reservation. Tickets may be purchased at www.allstartennismiami.com. Prices range from $95 spectators tickets, $750 and $1500 tickets, to $5000 tickets which can get you VIP All Access including play time with the tennis pros and a meet and greet photo opportunity. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 22 from 2pm to 6pm.
