Give Miami Day is November 20 Helping Paws For You
You’ve seen them at Pet Supermarket, working to home dogs who have none. You’ve seen their 5k race and golf tournaments to help raise money for their cause— that organization is Paws For You— an amazing group that gives homeless pets a second chance by providing shelter, medical care that includes both specialized and standard sterilization surgeries, as well as rehabilitation for animals that need it.
Today is your chance to lend a hand—November 20th is Give Miami Day. It’s a day when your dollars go even farther to help homeless pets as donations to Paws For You are getting matched by the Miami Foundation.
Paws For You not only fixes up these animals with vaccines, microchips and such, they find homes for them at adoption events around the state. Here are some of the amazing, one-of-a-kind dogs that Paws For You has available right now for adoption, including a Doberman Pincher named “Teenie” with natural ears and a Chihuahua mix named “Fox”
Pets aren’t the only group benefitting from the Miami Foundation’s generosity today, but it’s one of our “pet” causes, as is Voices for Children. Check the website so see them all.
