5 Thanksgiving Cocktails You Can Make to Wow Your Guests
Turkey, dressing and desserts garner the lion’s share of attention on Thanksgiving Day but don’t forget about cocktails when you’re putting together your menu for Nov. 27. Here are five tasty Thanksgiving cocktails you can make at home that are sure to impress your guests.
Pumpkin Punch

Pumpkin Punch
Ingredients:
2oz Tequila El Jimador
2oz Pumpkin ale
1oz Orange juice
1oz Pumpkin puree
2 dashes Angostura bitters
½ spice syrup
Directions:
Place all ingredients in to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice. Shake hard and strain over ice in to a mason. Garnish with a star anise pod and an orange zest.
NOLET’S Silver Blood Orange

Ingredients:
1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Dry Gin
.75 oz. Blood Orange Juice
.75 oz. Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Aperol®
.5 oz. Rose Wine
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
Garnish with a blood orange wheel.

Mixologist Summer Jane Bell created this dandy:
Cornucopia
Ingredients:
2 oz Suerte Reposado
1 oz apple cider
.5 oz quality Raspberry liqueur such as St George Raspberry Liqueur
.5 oz lemon juice
teaspoon of super fine sugar or 1/2 oz simple syrup
2 dashes of Green Bar Collective Baked Apple Bitters
Directions:
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a tall glass. Top with hard apple cider. Garnish with a fan of thinly sliced apple.
Ketel One Spiked Apple

Ketel One Spiked Apple
Ingredients:
1 oz. Ketel One® Vodka
½ oz. Stirrings® Apple Liqueur
1 oz. apple cider
½ oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake over ice. Pour contents into a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
Spiced Bohemia

Spiced Bohemia
Ingredients:
½ oz lime juice
1 oz Creme Yvette
.5 oz Allspice liquor
1.5 oz Bohemia
Directions:
Shake all ingredients except the Bohemia and strain in rockglass over ice coupe glass. Top with Bohemia beer and grate nutmeg on top.
Place ginger slices, lemon juice, cinnamon syrup, and añejo tequila into a cocktail shaker and fill with cubed ice.
Add Indio beer and stir to combine, garnish with lemon discs or shaved ginger.
