The Largest Riva Yacht Makes its World Debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show
A lot of exciting things happened at this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Among the most exciting was the unveiling of the 122 foot Riva Mythos, the largest Riva yacht ever. The exquisitely styled mega-yacht marks parent company Ferretti Group’s commitment to innovation—and size. To mark the occasion, Ferretti Group brought in their Global CEO Alberto Galassi. “This is the beginning,” said Galassi, “this year has been very formative for the Group in the Americas as we are on track to close the strongest sales year to date in the history of our Americas organization.”
Indeed the Italian yacht group showed a power presence with a total of 15 different boats on display as well as a host of innovations that include the following:
- The exclusive floodable garage, available both on Ferretti Yachts 960 and on CRN 125 60mt “J’ade” mega yacht, which is completed by an extraordinary luxury beach club on the water surface
- The Convertible Top, an exclusive patent by the Group, presented on the new project of Riva 88’ Florida, which can transform an open yacht into a coupé thanks to the handling of the hard top;
- The Dual Mode Transom, another Ferretti Group’s exclusive patent, which matches into one single system the floodable garage, the stern plunging platform and a wide beach area, available both on the new Ferretti Custom Line Navetta 28, which made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2014, and on the forthcoming Custom Line 108’, which will debut on 2015.
In case you missed these, you’ll have to wait until the Miami International Boat Show next February.
