Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Nightclub
The main event may be sold out, but it’s not too late to score a ticket to the second act: the InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish Nightclub. The charitable event that’s just a little later, younger and more raucous than the 20th Annual InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish Ball on Sat., Nov. 1, is going to be the place to be next Saturday night. The theme of this year’s nightclub will be “Voyage des Papillions”, which it will pay homage to the contemporary disco movement with an extravagant couture runway show presented by Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour.
The after party promises to be every bit as happening as the Oz-themed main event. The fashion show will be co-produced by Maxwell Blandford and Clif Loftin, with creative execution by DECO Productions, the disco-infused runway show will be styled by Arel Ramos for Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour, with hair by Danny Jelaca Salon and makeup by O.P Studio, and will present the new collections of couture designers, such as Tom Ford, Pucci and Dolce & Gabbana. Progressive beats will be provided by DJ Michelle Leshem and producer Sean Drake.
The event chairs and host committee reads like the who’s who of Miami’s young, rich and fabulous with names like Oren Alexander, Nick D’Annunzion, Danny Estevez, Peter Ancona, Andres Fanjul, Louis Fonseca, Hope Ruslin, and of course, Tara Solomon.
Individual tickets for “Voyage des Papillions” are $100, which includes an unlimited open bar, and more importantly, dollars towards wishes for a child with life-threatening diseases.
