News | May 21, 2010

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and its Board of Trustees welcomed guests including House Representative Nancy Pelosi, Mayor Gavin Newsom, and Daniel Lurie to celebrate the museum’s 75th birthday, which benefited its exciting exhibitions and educational programs.

Attendees were escorted to the museum’s rooftop for cocktails and an exclusive viewing of select anniversary exhibitions. Afterward the crowd headed to the fifth-floor galleries where they were met with a delicious dinner and decorative decor.

Guests eventually made their way to the ground floor for an incredible lineup of musical performances featuring the genre-crossing electronic band known as Brazilian Girls who headlined the evening. Other performances included Cheyney Thompson with Xeno and Oaklander.
