Kean Etro dips into the mainstay of Italian life for his menswear collection for spring 2015-food. The show started quietly with white sartorial suits and separates, followed by a grouping of vibrant hues, boiling over into a crescendo of digital prints of the design team’s lunches.
The men sauntered down the runway with ensembles emblazoned with images of vegetable lasagne, risotto Milanese or clams oreganato. It was a statement in support of La Dolce Vita or the good life-food and wine is where Italians excel and no where is the food more delicious. Food gets us all on common ground and Keane wants men to chose their favorites off the the Etro menu and he will serve it up hot and delicious. Tipping not necessary.
