Ken Fulk Hosts Masquerade Ball for Denise Hale
Interior designer Ken Fulk alongside Kurt Wootton welcomed a crowd of 400 partygoers to Fulk’s South of Market Design Studio to celebrate Denise Hale’s birthday and the establishment of a fund in her name with a lavish masquerade ball. Men outfitted in leather costumes were on hand to greet guests as they walked into a room entrapped within exposed brick walls and ceiling covered in industrial pipes providing a sharp contrast to the dark toned wood flooring and sophisticated decor.
Attendees arrived in sleek tuxedos and gorgeous gowns accentuated by elaborate masks hiding their faces as they danced deep into the evening. Crowds formed both inside and outside as Fulk set up a silk tent laden in pillows on the third floor balcony. Those in attendance indulged in fine hors d’oeuvres and drinks as they applauded the event’s entertainment consisting of chanteuse Paula West, drag queen Fauxnique, and the night’s DJ, who kept the dance floor packed with bodies.
