Haute Event: American Museum of Natural History Dance
Last week the American Museum of Natural History hosted New York City’s longest-running junior benefit. The Museum Dance brought together influential young philanthropists to celebrate and raise funds for the American Museum of Natural History’s scientific and educational programs.
The theme of the evening was “Star Studded!,” in honor of the Museum’s new Space Show, Dark Universe, narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, Director of the Hayden Planetarium.
The night began with an intimate dinner, followed by an after-party with music by JUS SKE.
All funds raised from the event, which was sponsored by Kwiat, will benefit the Museum’s scientific and educational programming, which enable thousands of underserved New York City school children to visit the Museum annually.
Attendees included Chairmen Kristen Edgreen Kaufman and Michael Kaufman, Elizabeth Kurpis and Jonathan A. Kurpis, Alexandra and Gregory Kwiat, Nina and Mike Patterson, and Colleen and Kipp deVeer, as well as guests like Jemima Kirke, Eric M. Javits Jr, Di Mondo, Tantivy Gubelmann, and Arielle and Russell Kwiat.
