Behnaz Sarafpour Presents Fall 2010 Collection

On May 7, upscale department store Wilkes Bashford and San Francisco First Lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom co-hosted a two-day trunk show for Bahnaz Sarafpour’s Fall 2010 Collection. Fashionistas throughout the Bay Area swarmed the luxurious boutique to catch a glimpse of the New York designer and her trendy threads as well as support the documentary film, Miss Representation, written, directed, and produced by Newsom herself.

The event featured exclusive interviews with both Behnaz Sarafpour and Jennifer Siebel Newsom, as well as the thrilling trunk show and day of shopping. A portion of the proceeds from the show benefited Miss Representation, the film focuses on the under representation of women in power and challenges mainstream media’s portrayal of these influential women.
