Bentley Fêtes its 95th Year with a Special Edition of the Mulsanne
To fete its 95th anniversary, British auto brand Bentley presents a special edition of the Mulsanne 95, which will feature an assortment of British-inspired materials and designs.
To fête its 95th anniversary, Bentley unveiled a special edition of the Mulsanne, which features an assortment of British-inspired materials and designs including 21-inch, five-spoke wheels, and comes in three exclusive exterior colors: Britannia Blue, Empire Red and Oxford White, to honor the UK-based automaker’s English history.
The cabin of the Mulsanne 95 will come wrapped in two-toned blue and white leather punctuated with red top-stitching; a 95 motif embroidered into the seats; and illuminated tread plates. Its wood panels were crafted from a single massive, 300- to 400-year-old walnut tree that was brought down by a storm in Lincolnshire in 2007.
Like the Mulsanne’s run-of-the-mill version, the special creation sports a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8, making 505 hp and 752 pounds per foot of torque. The potent engine’s power is channeled to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Most of those looking to nab one of the limited edition autos will be fresh out of luck, since the 15 exclusive models that will be manufactured will reportedly remain strictly within UK borders.
