
Toma Begins Weekend Brunch At Lorenzo At The Redbury
Chef Tony Mantuano of Chicago’s Bar Toma is launching his popular pop-up brunch to Lorenzo, the delicious Italian eatery at the Redbury. Starting this weekend, look for the popular brunch that boasts dishes like Eggs in Purgatory (eggs, spicy tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, pecorino Romano and rosemary foccacia),Parma (two sunny side up eggs, Parma Cotto ham and fingerling potatoes), and Pizza Carbonara (eggs, La Queicia guanicale, Pecorino pepato, mozzarella and black pepper).
Winner of the 2005 James Beard Foundation award for Best Chef and a previous champion of Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters,” Tony Mantuano is the mastermind behind Bar Toma and partner of Lorenzo. So you can imagine the brunch will be off the hook, lucky for you they are doing it Saturdays AND Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
