Red Bull Illume to Light Up Atlanta

Red Bull Illume, the world’s largest international action sports photography exhibit is stopping in Piedmont Park from March 20th through March 30th.  During the ten day exhibit, guests are invited to the midtown park once the sun sets to take in the sights of the 25 life-sized illuminated boxes that showcase the carefully selected and action-packed photographs.

Be prepared to be wowed by these photos. They were in fact chosen from a pool of over 28,000 submissions all showcasing the most exciting and creative action sports photography on the earth.The collection of 50 photographs, chosen by an esteemed panel of photo editors, are touring the world as part of a unique illuminated nighttime exhibition.

On Thursday March, 20, the Red Bull Illume will host a kickoff party beginning at 8 p.m.  Located in Piedmont Park, on the 10th Street Side inside the Charles Allen Gates, the unveiling of the light boxes is free to attend. The kickoff evening will also feature performances by Red Bull athletes and live broncolor photo demonstrations by winning photographs. Oh, and cocktails will be available.
