Haute Event: Bassjackers Takes Over Light Nightclub

Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay kicked off the weekend with an unforgettable set by Bassjackers on Friday night. The deejay arrived in Vegas Friday afternoon and enjoyed dinner at chef Akira Back’s Kumi at Mandalay Bay, where he and his group dined on an array of Back’s shared plates, sashimi and a Moscow Mule.
After dinner it was off to Light, where he relaxed in the deejay booth and took his signature “Derp Face” photos. At 1 a.m., wearing all black and Nike fly knit sneakers he took over the decks playing the hottest dance and electric sounds that made partygoers dance non-stop, while the club’s Cirque du Soleil artists mesmerized guests above the dance floor.
Also spotted, legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard taking in club scene and boxing great Roy Jones Jr.
