Haute Event: Zedd, Lil Jon and Skrillex Headline Super Bowl Weekend at XS
Party-goers from around the country crowded into XS at Wynn Las Vegas over Super Bowl weekend to see Zedd at his residency debut on Friday, the return of Skrillex on Saturday and Lil Jon’s post-game party on Sunday night.
Fresh off his Grammy win, Zedd kicked off the party weekend for the packed house holding giant prints of the iconic award trophy and oversized cutouts of his face across the dance floor. The club went wild when he played his latest song, “Find You” along with his hit “Clarity” among others. The party lasted well into the morning hours as Zedd wowed fans during his debut as falling confetti, lasers, and other special production surrounded the dance floor.
On Saturday night, Skrillex returned to XS for the first time since his 2012 residency concluded. Fans crowded the stage to snap pictures of the deejay as balloons rained on the packed dance floor and DJ booth. The DJ looked right at home as he jumped on top of the DJ booth to the excited shouts of guests. Skrillex mixed classic hits with his latest tracks for a set that left the crowd wanting more at the conclusion of the evening.
Lil Jon kept the post-game celebrations going Sunday night as he stepped up to the DJ booth. Seahawk and Broncos fans put their differences aside to end the momentous weekend on a high note. Partiers located front and center on the dance floor received a champagne shower from Lil Jon has he stood on the stage before wrapping up the Super Bowl weekend.
