The United States’ only snow polo event–Piaget World Snow Polo Championships–returns to Aspen this week, as some of the world’s best players take to Wagner Park for two days of playing and parties. Confirmed players include Nacho Figueras, Nic Roldan and Facundo Pieres. On Thursday, Dec. 19, the men will play an exhibition game, followed by the team playoffs for world champion on Friday, Dec. 20.

As Wagner Park is in the middle of downtown Aspen, people can spectate for free. But, officials are also selling VIP tickets for luxe viewing options. The gates open at 11 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. both days. Proceeds from the event benefit Sopris Therapy Services and Aspen Sister Cities.
