‘Miracle on Madison Avenue’ Combines Shopping & Philanthropy
Swipe your credit card for a good cause! This Saturday marks the 27th anniversary of one of New York City’s most celebrated shopping traditions—Miracle on Madison Avenue.
Eighty-five of the world’s most prestigious brands and retailers including Hermes, Graff Diamonds, Max Mara, David Yurman, Gucci, Missoni, Mulberry, Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch are taking part in this year’s shopping festival. Stock up on designer goodies from select Madison Avenue retailers located between 57th And 86th Street and feel good knowing that 20 percent of the day’s sales between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. will go to The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. There will also be festive performances by seven holiday choirs, plus many more surprises to come!
Proceeds from this year’s event will help pediatric initiatives of The Society of MSKCC, a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of adult and pediatric patients, supporting cancer research, and providing public education on the early prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer.
