News | December 3, 2013

Renowned philanthropist Joy Venturini Bianchi celebrated
the Helpers 60th anniversary – and her 75th birthday— at the iconic Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill in San Francisco on Oct. 5. The evening began with a cocktail reception in the Penthouse Suite followed by a gala dinner inside the Grand Ballroom. Bianchi, a Bay Area fashion icon and owner of Helpers House of Couture, has made it her life’s work to support individuals with developmental disabilities through the Helpers organization. Bay Area notables Senator Mark Leno, Jack Calhoun and designer Karen Caldwell were among the guests who arrived dressed to the nines in celebration of the occasion.
