Dori’s World: Lunch at Bochic Jewelry

News | April 23, 2010

What better way to spend a Friday afternoon in the city than at a lunch hosted by Rena Sindi at Bochic Jewelry? Our lovely hostess was decked out in bright blue Louboutins, and we were thrilled to welcome her back from across the pond after the terrible challenges presented by the volcano in Iceland.

Bochic is one of the preeminent names in jewelry design, with a who’s who of clients, including the ever-chic First Lady Michelle Obama. Lunch was in the Bochic showroom on 57th Street, and all of the lovely ladies in attendance had the opportunity to try on the beautiful jewelry while dining. Guests included Serena Boardman Liz Maidman, Tori Burch, Ana Lafont, Denise Rich, Bettina Zilkha, Marisa Noel Brown, and Masha Mimran.

And as I was walking home from lunch today I got stopped three different times by people complimenting my Diane von Furstenberg dress, Alexandre Birman shoes, and Jack Vartanian jewelry. I say this not to boast, but because it reminds me of how much I love springtime in New York. That’s all for now, I’m off to Lion tonight for dinner, and then, of course, Boom Boom Room.
