Dolce & Gabbana

The building which housed The Gap for more than 20 years has been razed and Dolce & Gabbana and Helmut Lang are two tenants reportedly set to take its place, the Aspen Daily News reported. When the building was purchased last year for $13.25 million by local developer Mark Hunt, it received permission from city council for redevelopment. Now, the two-story building will house the luxury goods stores previously mentioned, along with Theory, which is relocating from a storefront across the street. There is still another vacant spot yet to be filled on the street level. On the second floor, David Burke Kitchen is scheduled to open in February.

The building is still in construction and the shops are reportedly set to open early next year.
