Haute Watch of the Week: Hublot Big Bang Caviar Lady 305 Limited Edition

Luxury watchmaker Hublot is unveiling a new women’s timepiece this week, and Haute Time has your exclusive first look.

The 41mm Hublot Big Bang Caviar was made especially for women and this limited edition was made especially for the brand’s Miami Boutique, in honor of “The Gateway to the Americas,” as well as Hublot’s ongoing sponsorship of the Miami Heat NBA Team. Haute Time is hosting the launch party for the watch this coming Wednesday, and we had a look at the watch over the weekend, taking some pictures to give Haute Time readers an exclusive first-hand look.

There will be 10 watches in 18k gold and 25 versions produced in steel. The caseback is engraved with “Lady 305” referring to Miami’s area code, and includes a depiction of the Miami skyline. The watch is meant to evoke the sand, sun and sea of South Florida. The ocean-blue strap is perfect for a Miami-centric timepiece, and is special to this edition. While the Caviar’s case and dial are traditionally cut and bevelled to resemble diamonds, this version is both engraved and actually set with gems – 36 sparkling blue topaz to match the ocean-blue strap, which is made of crocodile leather sewn onto black rubber.

It contains the HUB1112 self-winding movement, and is water-resistant to 100 meters. The Lady 305 is based on the unique, iconic design of the famous One Million Dollar Black Caviar, and directly inspired by the black ceramic Big Bang Black Caviar, one of the brand’s bestsellers since 2011.

The Hublot 305 Lady is being sold exclusively in Miami, at the boutique based in the Bal Harbour mall. The gold version will retail for US$37,900 and the silver version will retail for US$16,800.
