Tortoise Club Turns 1

Happy Birthday to ya! Happy Birthday to ya! Happpyyy Biiiirrrthhdayy! I wonder how many Stevie Wonder fans are reading this. It doesn’t matter, this has nothing to do with him, it’s all about Tortoise Club (350 North State) and their upcoming birthday. Tomorrow, November 19, they will be celebrating their first year. I don’t need to remind you how much I love Tortoise Club, I gushed about them in an earlier piece, but I am very excited for them. They will be celebrating with an old-school birthday bash. From balloons and streamers decorating the space to female servers donning birthday tiaras and male servers sporting Tortoise Ties – guests are bound to get in the celebratory spirit – even Teddy the Tortoise is dressing up in a birthday hat for the day. Most importantly, each guest who dines at Tortoise Club on November 19th leaves with a complimentary mini cupcake and an official birthday photo with Teddy the Tortoise. And when you get in there make sure you find the wife side of ownership, Megan, and give her a great big congratulations!
