John Varvatos Celebrates Release of First Book in Chicago
Last week, popular fashion designer John Varvatos was in town to celebrate the release of his first book, “John Varvatos: Rock in Fashion.” He didn’t come alone though, accompanying him at the Michigan Avenue Nordstrom was ZZ Top, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick and photographer Mick Rock. The book was written with Holly George-Warren and explores how evolving styles of rock have impacted not only fashion, but also pop culture over the past 50 years. And of course it goes in depth about how rock has influenced him in his own career and design sensibility.
