Ritz-Carlton Naples Guest room 2

The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, famous for being one of the poshest beachfront hotels around, has just unveiled a very exciting makeover this week. The new design by Wimberly Interiors still hints at the formal chintz look of the iconic hotel while loosening its collar a bit. The hotel closed up shop for the first time in 27 years for two whole months to renovate all 450 guestrooms and their famed Artisans ballroom. Soft blue and yellow tones hint at the Gulf of Mexico and the warm sand just beyond the windows.

Three restaurants on the property, also got new outfits by New York-based design agency, Blue Plate. Terrazza, a new Italian restaurant taking the place of The Terrace, gets a new beautiful open-air terrace, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors to showcase stunning views of the gulf. The Sushi Bar will still serve sushi, but be called Dusk, and feature an extended balcony and soft new color palate.
