Haute 100 NY Update: Hillary Clinton to Receive Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service

News | August 2, 2013

Hillary Clinton will be the first person to receive the Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service at the Golden Heart Awards Dinner on October 16th. The award will be presented by Kors and fashion powerhouse, Anna Wintour, at Spring Studios in Manhattan.

The Golden Heart Awards, presented annually by God’s Love We Deliver, honors the important contributions of individuals, corporations and foundations working to end world hunger in New York City. Funds raised at this signature event help ensure that no person in New York City ever suffers the dual crises of hunger and life-altering illness.

“Thanks to her talent, devotion and unrelenting efforts on behalf of those with much less, she has improved millions of lives and helped lay the foundation for a better, more just world,” Kors said of Clinton in a statement.

Past recipients of the philanthropic award include Philippe Dauman, Calvin Klein, Christine Quinn, Harry Slatkin, Joan Rivers and Carolina Herrera.
