Coming Soon: Gucci Artisans to a Store Near You

In an effort to draw attention to their Forever Now campaign, Gucci has sent their master leather workers on a world tour. And this month, they might make a cameo in a city near you.

Since the beginning of the year, the Gucci artisans have taken up residence at various Gucci flagships and boutiques throughout the world displaying the secret to building the design house’s signature handbags. Setting up in the ‘Artisan Corners,’ they have custom worktables, sewing machines, leather stands and metal tools. This is your chance to see how a handbag is built, from the beginning stages of sketches and mood boards to the end. If you are interested in having your very own, custom Gucci handbag—complete with embossed initials, if it so pleases you—check out the cities and dates below.

The artisans will be introduced to each city on the tour by a VIP event, welcoming some of Gucci’s most notable clients and style setters.
