Picasso Exhibit set to make an Appearance at The Met
Alright all you New York art buffs out there, I have good news, and unfortunately there is a little bit of bad news. The good news is that The Metropolitan Museum of Art is going to be unveiling a Pablo Picasso exhibit. Now, the bad news is that you are going to have to wait till April 27 to take part in the genius behind one of history’s most celebrated artists.
The Met plans to showcase 300 works which include paintings, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics, some of which have never been seen in its entirety. Everything from Picasso’s early figure painting, through his Blue and Rose periods up until his final years will be on display.
The Met’s exhibition of these works allows visitors, scholars, and art hobbyist the opportunity to interact with one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century.
The exhibition will begin on April 27 and run up until August 1, so pull out the electronic datebooks because this is an exhibition you do not want miss.
