Dori’s World: A Day of Surprises

Yesterday, the Samsung white glove delivery brought my new Galaxy S II. They had such great service! At Soul Cycle we did more jogging than resistance training. I tried a new remedy for stomachaches: 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar with water! At Juice Press I found my new favorite green juice.

Later on, I lunched with Dylan Lauren and, of course, stopped at her store afterward for candy! It gave me the energy I needed for my busy evening. I went to Lizzie Grubman’s event at Hudson, then Greg Link’s event for the Chloé opening and dinner at Tortilla Flats with Sarah Howard, Jenny Cohen and Nicky Hilton.

The Santiago Gonzalez surprise party at Indochine, which he owns with his mother Nancy, had the sickest bags ever! No wonder they recently opened a store in Hong Kong. Nina Garcia, Liz Maidman, and Carlos Mota planned the amazing birthday party. All of the details were perfect, especially the cake and flowers. Linda Fargo, the fabulous queen of Bergdorf, was the only woman who could get Santi to his own surprise party! Other guests included Carlos Souza, Dino Lalvani, Caroline Berthet, Damien from Rose Bar, Adam Lippes, Anita Calero, Michael Hirtenstein and Christine Mack. I was so happy to wear my Douglas Hannant dress with my Dolce jacket. Thank you for the amazing party! I hope you had a great birthday, Santi!
