Haute 100 NY Update: Bill Clinton Earns $500K for Israeli Speech
Bill Clinton will give a 45-minute speech in celebration of Israeli President Shimon Peres‘ 90th birthday in return for $500,000 that he received almost a year ago from the Jewish National Fund. Israel’s humble president refused to attend the event on July 17 when he discovered that it was originally charging guests more than $800 per ticket, but will now attend. On June 19, Israel will honor former President Clinton once again with the President’s Award. Clinton’s generous reward will benefit his William J. Clinton Foundation, which furthers environmental protection and public health.
