Haute Event: Nick Cannon Spins at the Ling Ling Club; Zen Freeman at Hakkasan with Derek Hough and Jason Statham in the House

Hakkasan at the MGM Grand was pulsing with excitement as guest deejay Nick Cannon hit the decks on Saturday night. Cannon kept the party bouncing downstairs in the Ling Ling Club, entertaining guests starting at 12:30 a.m. and spinning his favorite hits into the night.

Upstairs in the main room, deejay Zen Freeman kicked off the party as he hit the turntables around 10:30 p.m., followed by headlining electronic dance music powerhouse Michael Woods.

It was a star-studded affair as “Dancing With The Stars” pro Derek Hough took a break from his busy schedule to hang behind the deejay booth with his pal Freeman. Keeping close to the stage throughout the night, Hough was spotted drinking and celebrating into the early hours of the evening.

Also spotted in the main room was actor Jason Statham, in town filming his new movie “Heat.” Statham was seated at the center of the action, in a VIP table behind the raised DJ booth. Noticeably in good spirits, the actor was seen drinking and dancing with friends to the heart pounding beats of Michael Woods.
