Did Jay-Z and Beyonce Purchase Cher’s Malibu Home for $40 Million?

Hip-hop power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce may have purchased Cher’s Malibu home for $40 million. The 1.7-acre walled compound has six bedrooms, a gym, theater and infinity pool.

Previous reports indicated that Beyonce and Jay-Z were considering buying Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, but it now appears that the musical duo have purchased an equally impressive California abode, Cher’s former Italian Renaissance Malibu mansion. The property includes six bedrooms, nine baths, a gym, theater, walled tennis court, infinity pool, underground parking garage, guesthouse, stone walls, floors and staircases, a Gothic Revival stone mantelpiece that was carved in Mexico, a muted, light palette on the inside, English bronze chandeliers, and much more.

The property was first listed back in 2008 for $45 million and then recently relisted for $41 million.
