Valentines Day is around the corner. But before the big day, a special treat awaits off the beaten path in Lodi Wine Country. Just a hop, skip and a jump outside of San Francisco, the quaint town along the Delta brings a weekend full of the ultimate Valentine’s Day treats: wine and chocolate.
At Lodi’s 16th annual Wine & Chocolate Weekend, guests will enjoy Lodi’s diverse range of handcrafted wines, along with a variety of Brix Chocolates and Lodi’s signature charm. Camron King, Executive Director of the Lodi Winegrape Commission, explained “Not only does this event offer exceptional wines, but one can experience the passion, heritage and variety of the Lodi wine region.”
Guests will also have the opportunity to visit over 45 participating wineries over the course of two days and engage in various activities such as wine and chocolate pairings, barrel tastings, live music and winery tours. Over 100 prizes will be awarded to lucky wine and chocolate lovers, including a Lodi Wine Country Getaway and the “Golden Ticket”, which will be hidden in a commemorative chocolate bag.
Wine is meant to be enjoyed. With chocolate. And your special someone.
